Advisors serve  as a critical community champion of the International Foundation for Autoimmune Arthritis.  These members share their gifts in service to our mission by providing our organization with their professional expertise, their diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives, and their connections to local, national, or international resources, colleagues, or peers.  They have no governing function within the organization, yet their input on programs and initiatives is necessary to ensure IFAA always enlists the best and brightest leaders for each project.

IFAA's unique infrastructure does not step at the management and volunteer level- we also expand our cutting edge structure into the roles of the advisors.  While typically these experts are selected on annual or bi-annual rotation, IFAA runs projects differently and, therefore, must contract advisors based on a project to project basis.  Therefore, service may range for the full duration of a project (whether that be months or years) or contracts may for weeks or months, based on skill sets needed to establish a strong and beneficial project.
