Since IFAA is run by patients who are current and former business leaders and educators, we have set up the organization to run almost entirely online, without the use of physical offices. This enables us to stay open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and those involved can work from any location (including from bed) and at any time of the day they feel their best. As patients ourselves, we understand the limitations associated with these diseases so of we have created a platform that allows any person located any place in the world to help, regardless of his or her physical capacity.
We havea unique business model at IFAA. We keep the number of employees small and then the rest of the work is done either by volunteers and, based on project needs, we use subcontractors. All volunteers are welcome to submit resumes to be considered for subcontracting work and preference is given to those who have proven work ethic and capabilities through IFAA volunteer work.
